Shares of INOX Leisure were trading higher by 4% at Rs 182 on the BSE after the foreign institutional investors (FIIs) bought the company’s equity shares through open market.
Goldman Sachs India Fund and Norges Bank on Account of Government Pension Fund Global have collectively acquired 2.35 million shares of INOX Leisure for total consideration of Rs 41.20 crore.
On March 12, 2015 Goldman Sachs India Fund bought 1.25 million shares, while Norges Bank on Account Of Government Pension Fund Global purchased 1.10 million shares of INOX Leisure at Rs 175 on the BSE, the bulk deal data shows.
However, Inox Benefit Trust sold 4.5 million shares at Rs 175, data shows.
The stock opened at Rs 180 and touched high of Rs 185 on the BSE. The trading volumes on the counter more than doubled with a combined 608,076 shares changed hands on the BSE and NSE.
