More than 100 delegates from across the world and about 40 exhibitors from different segments like growers, exporters, equipment makers and dealers, processors and manufacturers comprising of all major brands are expected to participate in the India International Coffee Festival to be held in Bangalore during October 7-9.
Announcing this here on Wednesday, G V Krishna Rau, chairman, Coffee Board said the festival will provide an excellent opportunity for the entrepreneurs to explore the opportunities in the coffee industry. This year, the conference will focus on the issues central to the advancement of the coffee industry and the emerging topics like coping with the challenges of climate change and changing consumer preferences. The discussion will also focus on Coffee Vision 2020, mechanization in coffee, coffee and health and sustainable coffee farming.
Top names in the coffee business in India including Café Coffee Day, Tata Coffee, Lavazza, Hindustan Unilever and Nestle, also international companies like Scolari Engineering, Pinhalense, Probat, CMA and Mahlkonig are expected to participate. Delegates from countries including Brazil, Germany, Italy, Sweden, USA and England will be present.
