The Skindia GDR Index (SGI), which represents GDRs of 15 actively-traded companies, remained more or less unchanged at 498.88 during early trades on Tuesday till 5.00 pm local time. ITC was heavily traded in the morning session registering volumes of 103,900.
There were 15 gainers, 10 losers and 47 unchanged. The other major gainers among SGI stocks were VSNL and Satyam Computer.
On Monday, the SGI rose moderately by 1.29 per cent to 500.08 as against its previous close of 493.71, an Instanex Capital release said. While the Skindia GDR index P/E ratio also gained by 1.33 per cent to 10.43.

On Monday, most of the Indian ADRs ended higher in the US markets. Infy, the Infosys Technologies ADS, shed $0.50 to $82.75. Sify, the Satyam Infoway ADR, lost $0.50 to $3.32.
Redf, the Rediff.com ADR, gained $0.01 to $0.72. SLT, the Silverline Tech ADR, rose $0.16 to $1.08. WIT, the Wipro ADR, jumped $0.48 to $36.25. SAY, the Satyam Computer ADR, rose $0.43 to $13.15.
