In restricted trade activity, Jaggery products, gur and pedi's price declined by Rs 10 per quintal on the wholesale gur (jaggery) market today owing to slack in demand.

Marketmen said reduced offtake from local traders helped gur pedi prices to shed modest ground. Buying activity was also restricted due to monsoon rain, they said.

At Delhi, gur pedi prices fell by Rs 10 to Rs 2,940-3,040 per quintal.

Following are today's quotations in Rs per quintal:

Delhi: Chakku Rs 2,800-2,900, Pedi Rs 2,940-3,040, and shakkar Rs 3,100-3,200
Muzaffarnagar: Raskat Rs 2,050-2,100, and Chakku Rs 2,400-2,575
Muradnagar: Pedi 2,700-2,750 and Dhaya prices not available
