Jeera falls 0.3% on profit-booking

Prices declined due to weak spot market demand

Jeera futures for May declined by Rs 40, or 0.29% to Rs 13,915 per quintal in 14,430 lots.     

At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), the April contract traded lower by Rs 37.50, or 0.27% to Rs 13,800 per quintal in 1,338 lots.

Prices declined as speculators booked profits at prevailing higher levels amid weak spot market demand against adequate stocks.
