Jeera futures prices today fell further by Rs 37.50 to Rs 12,172.50 per quintal, extending yesterday's losses, on increased supplies from producing regions in the spot market amid lower spot demand.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, the May contract declined by Rs 37.50, or 0.31%, to Rs 12,172.50 per quintal, with an open interest of 9,681 lots.
The April contract shed Rs 12.50, or 0.11%, to Rs 11,885 per quintal in 15,543 lots.
