JMC Projects (India) has surged 20% to Rs 238 on the BSE after the company announced that it has recently secured new orders worth of Rs 702 crore.
The company secured order amounting of Rs 199 crore is for Bhagalpur water supply projects and order of Rs 181 crore for Karnataka State Highways improvement project, JMC Projects said in a statement.
The company also secured order of Rs 170 crore for two building projects in Bangalore and another order worth of Rs 152 crore for building for Central University of Bihar at Gaya, it added.
At 01:14 p.m. the stock was up 15% at Rs 230 on the BSE. The trading volumes on the counter more than doubled with a combined 119,868 shares changed hands on the BSE and NSE.
