The stock rose 7.34 per cent to Rs 774, after the company reported its crude steel production rose 34 per cent to 453,000 tonnes in October 2009 over the same period last year. In last two days the stock appreciated 13.72 per cent from Rs 680.65 on November 3.
Production of flat products, used in automobiles, rose 19 per cent to 296,000 tonnes, while long products, used in construction and railway lines, rose 145 per cent to 75,000 tonnes in October 2009 over October 2008.
