Kabli gram, peas prices decline on sluggish demand

Kabli gram and peas prices declined by Rs 50 per quintal in the wholesale pulses market today on sluggish demand against adequate supply in the spot market.

Elsewhere, other commodities traded in a narrow range on restricted buying and settled around previous levels.  

Traders said besides sluggish demand, adequate stocks in the market on increased supplies also put pressure on the kabli gram prices.

In the national capital, kabli gram small prices declined by Rs 50 to Rs 4,100-5,500 per quintal. 

Peas white and green eased to Rs 2,175-2,275 and Rs 2,275-2,475 per quintal.
