Kabli gram, rajmah chitra up on retailers demand

Kabli gram and rajmah chitra rose by up to Rs 500 per quintal in the wholesale pulses market today on increased demand from retailers against tight supply.

Market analysts said increased demand from retailers against restricted arrivals mainly pushed up kabli gram and rajmah chitra prices.

In the national capital, kabli gram traded higher to Rs 5,600-8,000 from previous level of Rs 5,500-7,500 per quintal.

Rajmah chitra (Pune) and (China) varieties also found increased demand and gained Rs 50 each to Rs 4,350-4,650 and Rs 4,250-4,450 per quintal, respectively.

Masoor small 2,600-2,900, bold 2,750-3,000, Dal Masoor local 3,350-3,450, best quality 3,550-3,850, Malka local 3,300-3,350, best 3,450-3,550, Moth 2,200-2,600, Arhar 3,100-3,600, dal arhar dara 4,650-5,050
