Kabli gram rise on retailers demand

In restricted activity, kabli gram prices moved up by Rs 100 per quintal on the wholesale pulses market today on retailers demand against tight supply.  

Traders said rising demand from retailers, amid fall in arrivals from the producing region led to rise in wholesale kabli gram prices.

In the national capital, kabli gram small gained Rs 100 to Rs 4,000-5200 per quintal.    

Following are today's quotations in Rs per quintal:

Urad 4,150-4,700, Urad chilka (local) 4,950-5,350, best 5,400-5,700, Dhoya 5,600-5,700, Moong 4,000-4,400, Dal moong chilka local 4,850-5,250, Moong Dhoya local 5,100-5,300 and best quality 5,600-5,800

Masoor small 3,300-3,500, bold 3,450-3,700, Dal Masoor local 4,050-4,150, best quality 4,300-4,600, Malka local 3,900-3,950, best 4,050-4,150, Moth 3,100-3,400, Arhar 3,250-3,350, dal arhar dara 4,300-4,700
