Kabli gram rises on pick-up in demand

Kabli gram prices rose by Rs 500 per quintal in the wholesale pulses market today on pick-up in demand from retailers. 

Traders said pick-up in demand from retailers led to rise in kabli gram small prices.

In the national capital kabli gram small variety was quoted higher by Rs 500 to Rs 5,500-7,500 per quintal.

Following are today's quotations per quintal:  

Urad 3,800-4,200, Urad chilka (local) 4,580-4,980, best 5,200-5,700, Dhoya 5,050-5,150, Moong 3,950-4,950, Dal moong chilka local 4,970-5,370, Moong Dhoya local 5,300-5,500 and best quality 5,900-6,100

Masoor small 2,550-2,750, bold 2,700-2,950, Dal Masoor local 3,200-3,300, best quality 3,400-3,700, Malka local 3,300-3,350, best 3,450-3,550, Moth 2,000-2,400, Arhar 3,100-3,600, dal arhar dara 4,650-5,050

Gram 2,875-2,900, gram dal (local) 3,300-3,400, best quality 3,500-3,600, besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog 1,400, Rajdhani 1,400, Rajmah chitra Pune 4,200-4,600, China 4,100-4,300, red 4,300-4,400
