Kabli gram up on retailers demand

Kabli gram prices rose by Rs 100 per quintal in lacklustre trade on the wholesale pulses market today due to rising retailers' demand.

Elsewhere, prices continued to trade in narrow range in restricted buying activity and settled around previous levels.

Traders said rising retailers demand led to the rise in kabli gram prices.

In the national capital, kabli gram small prices rose by Rs 100 to Rs 4,150-5,350 per quintal.

Following are today's quotations in Rs per quintal:

Urad 3,700-4,250, Urad chilka (local) 4,500-4,900, best 5,000-5,300, Dhoya 5,200-5,300, Moong 4,150-4,550, Dal moong chilka local 5,000-5,400, Moong Dhoya local 5,450-5,650 and best quality 5,950-6,150

Masoor small 3,000-3,200, bold 3,200-3,450, Dal Masoor local 3,800-3,900, best quality 4,050-4,350, Malka local 3,800-3,850, best 3,950-4,050, Moth 4,000-4,300, Arhar 3,400-3,500, dal arhar dara 4,500-4,900
