The company, which has an existing turnover of Rs 138.4 crore, also plans to double its production to 3 lakh tonne by 2005-06.
It would set up new plants, one each in Maharashtra, Himachal Pradesh and Chhatisgarh. It would also start its maiden operations in West Bengal, Orissa and Andhra Pradesh, S Agarwal, managing director, Kamdhenu Ispat Ltd said.
The company would go into tie-ups with rolling mills in these states to produce more bars to meet domestic demand, he said.
