“The company’s transmission and distribution business has secured orders of Rs 1,408 crore, while solar business secured orders of Rs 450 crore and cable business secured orders worth Rs 85 crore,” KEC International said in a press release.
"Our Middle East portfolio diversification has strengthened further with new orders in Jordan and we are experiencing a remarkable pick up in momentum in Americas. The large order win in solar will significantly scale up solar business portfolio," Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO said.
The stock hit an intra-day high of Rs 170, trading close to its 52-week high of Rs 172 touched on February 22, 2017 during intra-day trade. A combined 675,220 shares changed hands on the counter on BSE and NSE till 01:46 pm.
