The stock of KEC International rose 3.64 per cent to Rs 581.50. The company has bagged a contract valued at Rs 130.15 crore from Karnataka Power Transmission Company for design, fabrication, testing, supply, erection and commissioning of a 400 KV D/C Line. The length of the line is 151.15 km. The project is to be completed in December 2008. The company's current order book stands at Rs 3,300 crore.
