Kingfisher Airlines has slipped by 6% to Rs 22.50 in morning deals on reports that the Mumbai airport authorities have sent notice to clear outstanding dues if it wants to continue landing and parking its aircraft.

“The airline owes dues worth Rs 90 crore to Mumbai International Airport (Pvt) Ltd (MIAL) in lieu of aircraft landing/parking charges, office rentals, etc. The payment has been pending for the last six months,” a report suggests.

A combined volume of 2.2 million shares have changed hands on the counter on both the exchanges.
