Kishmish prices rose up to Rs 300 per 40 kg, in the national capital today, on fresh buying by retailers and stockists. Tight supplies from the growing regions also supported the upside in prices.
Kishmish kandhari local rose up to Rs 300 to conclude at Rs 7,000-7,500 per 40 kg bag. Kishmish Indian green also traded higher at Rs 4,600- 6,000, against previous closing of Rs 4,400-5,800 per 40 kg bag.
Marketmen said increased buying by retailers and stockists, against tight supplies from the growing regions mainly pushed up kishmish prices on the wholesale dry fruit market here.
