The KPIT Cummins Infosystems’ scrip rose 9.94 per cent to close at its intraday high of Rs 44.25 on the announcement of positive fourth-quarter results. The company's net profit grew 28 per cent to Rs 65.82 crore in the quarter ended March 2009, while its revenues rose 36 per cent to Rs 793.2 crore.
The stock opened at Rs 41.90 and made a low of Rs 41.15. The counter witnessed trading volumes of 309,000 shares (about 1.8 times its two-week average).
