Among ISDI global depository receipts (GDRs), one advanced, two remained unchanged and four lost ground. The only gainer was Larsen & Toubro up 0.54 per cent to $18.60, registering a volume of 20,000 GDRs. The major losers were State Bank down 2.75 per cent to $24.80, Reliance down 1.51 per cent to $22.90 and a volume of 14,200 GDRs and ITC down 1.38 per cent to $25.05. |

The ISDI, representing the GDRs and ADRs of 15 actively traded companies, declined by 1.03 per cent to 962.77 on September 22 as against the previous level of 972.75. |

The ISDI price-to-earnings multiple also eased by 0.98 per cent to 17.46 from 17.63, previously. |

Among the ISDI GDRs and ADRs, there were eleven losers and four gainers and among ISDI ADRs, two advanced and six lost ground. |

The gainers were HDFC Bank, up 4.94 per cent to $32.26 and a volume of 59,200 ADRs and MTNL up 1.35 per cent to $6.78 and a volume of 47,600 ADRs. |

The major losers were Satyam Computers down 5.39 per cent to $23.01 and a volume of 305,300 ADRs, Infosys down 2.46 per cent to $56.38 and Dr. Reddy's Lab down 2.17 per cent to $16.67 and a volume of 117,100 ADRs. |

The GDR of Reliance also moved down to $23.00 from $23.60. The GDR of Bajaj Auto also looked up to $21.30 from $20.65. |

Meanwhile, global blue chip stocks opened lower on Thursday, but the Nasdaq index opened higher on a slight uptrend in technology stocks. |

The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 17.85 points, or 0.18 per cent, at 10,091.33. |

The Standard & Poor's 500 Index was down 0.93 points, or 0.08 per cent, at 1,112.63. The technology-laced Nasdaq Composite Index was up 1.33 points, or 0.07 per cent, at 1,887.04. |
