The market continues to exhibit a negative, range-bound trend in mid-noon trades, although select counters have recovered from their earlier lows. While the Sensex is now down two points at 7,345, the Nifty has moved up five points to 2,239.ONGC (up Rs 3 to Rs 920) has sneaked into the gree, after early losses. Reliance (up Rs 4 to Rs 665) and Reliance Energy (up Rs 2 to Rs 659) are unchanged with steady gains. ITC, on further selling pressure, has shed 2.36% (Rs 41) to Rs 1,696.ACC has advanced 2.16% (Rs 9) to Rs 435. Other cement counters have rolled back into the green.Hero Honda has scaled down 2.96% (Rs 19) to Rs 635. Bajaj is still trailing by 1.27% (Rs 18) at Rs 1,403. While Tata Motors has added 1.14% (Rs 5) to Rs 474, Maruti is up a per cent (Rs 5) at Rs 457.Infosys is trading with a per cent loss (Rs 16) at Rs 2,256, and TCS is lacklustre at Rs 1,324.HDFC Bank has inched up its gains by 1.67% (Rs 10) to Rs 638. While SBI is down a per cent (Rs 5) at Rs 722, ICICI Bank, however, is till trading a per cent lower (Rs 5) at Rs 439.HDFC at Rs 902 (up Rs 11 or 1.27%), BHEL at Rs 918 (up Rs 18 or 2%) and Tisco at Rs 368 (up Rs 5 or 1.52%) have logged decent gains. L&T, however, has slipped a per cent (Rs 12) to Rs 1,279, and Tata Power is down 1.34% (Rs 5) at Rs 398.
