Lead futures prices fell by 0.41 per cent to Rs 109.90 per kg today, tracking a weak global trend and subdued spot demand.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange counter, lead for December delivery drifted by 45 paise, or 0.41 per cent, to Rs 109.90 per kg, with a business turnover of 12 lots.

Similarly, the metal for delivery in January, shed 40 paise, or 0.36 per cent to Rs 110.90 per kg, with a trade volume of four lots.

At the London Metal Exchange (LME), lead dropped 0.4 per cent to $2,409.75 per tonne.

Analysts said apart from a weak trend at the LME, fall in demand from consuming industries at spot markets here, also kept pressure on the lead futures prices.
