In thin trade, lead prices rose 0.08 per cent to Rs 121.50 per kg in futures trade today, taking cues from firming trend overseas.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, lead for January gained 10 paise, or 0.08 per cent to Rs 121.50 per kg, with a business turnover of nine lots.
Likewise, the metal for delivery in February-contract rose by a similar margin to Rs 121.45 per kg, with a turnover of single lot.
Market analysts said pick up in demand from battery-makers and gains in metal at the London Metal Exchange (LME) mostly influenced the lead prices at futures trade.
Meanwhile, at the LME, lead advanced 0.3 per cent to $2,650 a tonne.
