Lead futures prices traded marginally down by Rs 1.05 to Rs 116.40 per kg today due to subdued demand from battery manufacturers.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange counter, lead for delivery in March declined by Rs 1.05, or 0.89 per cent, to Rs 116.40 per kg, with a business turnover of just two lots.

Likewise, the metal for delivery in January traded lower by 75 paise, or 0.64 per cent, to Rs 116 per kg, with a business volume of just two lots.

Market analysts said subdued demand from battery manufactures mainly helped lead prices to trade lower at futures trade.
