Amid weak trend overseas and subdued domestic demand, lead slide by 0.21% in futures trade today.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, lead for July delivery traded 35 paise, or 0.21% lower, at Rs 119.90 per kg, with a business turnover of 54 lots.

Likewise, the metal for August delivery traded lower by 20 paise, or 0.17%, to Rs 120.60 per kg, with a trade volume of six lots.

Meanwhile, lead declined by 0.70% to $2,700 a tonne on the London Metal Exchange.

Analysts said a weak trend in metal at the London Metal Exchange on weak US data and subdued demand at spot markets, mainly put pressure on the lead futures prices here.
