Lead prices fell by 0.45% to Rs 110.30 per kg in futures trade today amid weak cues from global markets.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, lead for July delivery declined by 50 paise, or 0.45%, to Rs 110.30 per kg, with a business turnover of 36 lots.

June delivery shed 40 paise, or 0.36%, to Rs 109.40 per kg, with a trading volume of 469 lots.

At the London Metal Exchange, lead declined by 0.30% to $2,453 per tonne.

Analysts said a weak trend in base metals on the London Metal Exchange on subdued demand concerns and slackness in demand in domestic spot markets led to the fall in lead futures prices here.
