Lead futures were marginally up at Rs 103.05 per kg today on increased buying by speculators following pick up in domestic demand.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, lead for delivery in February traded higher by 80 paise, or 0.78%, to Rs 103.05 per kg in business turnover of 524 lots.
The March contract inched up by 70 paise, or 0.67% to Rs 104.60 per kg in trading of 37 lots.
Analysts said pick up in demand from battery makers in the spot market amid firming global trend helped lead futures trade higher.
Lead climbed 1.5% to $2,105 a metric tonne on the London Metal Exchange.
