Lead up 0.6% on global cues, spot demand

Lead for delivery in June edged up by 0.63%.

Buoyed by a firm global trend and rising domestic demand, lead futures traded higher by 0.68% to Rs 126.35 per kg today as speculators enlarged positions.
    
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, lead for delivery in June traded higher by 85 paise, or 0.68%, to Rs 126.35 per kg in business turnover of 2,021 lots.
    
On the similar lines, lead for delivery in June edged up by 80 paise, or 0.63%, to Rs 126.95 per kg in 166 lots.
    
Market analysts said besides better demand in spot market, firm global trend in base metals mainly helped lead to trade with gains at futures trade.
