Low density polymer rises on increased offtake

Low density polymer prices rose Rs 2 per kg in the local plastic market today on increased offtake by plastic bag makers against less arrivals. 

Traders said increased offtake by stockists on increased demand from plastic bag manufacturers helped low density (LD) polymer prices to rise. 

LD No 40 and LD NO 400 were up by Rs two each to Rs 92.50 and Rs 94.50 per kg, respectively.

LD No 40 - 92.50, LD No 400 - 94.50 LLDP blowing 80, colour 75.00 HD Blowing 78.00, HD moulding (deshi) 78, HD moulding (colour) 85.00

PP No 100 - 82, PP Colour 103, ABS (Indian) 100, acrylic 110-120 colour 120-125, crystal (Indian) 70, colour 82, poly carbonate 170-178

Nylon No-6 155, Nylon No 66 - 190-200, PVC resin deshi 58.00, PVC pest grade 90
