Low density polymer rises on increased offtake

Low density polymer traded higher by Re 1 per kg on the local plastic market today due to increased offtake by plastic bag makers.  

Traders said increased offtake by plastic bag makers pushed up low density polymer prices.

LD NO 40 and LD No 400 were enquired higher by Re 1 each to Rs 93 and Rs 95 per kg.

LD No 40 - 93, LD No 400 - 95 LLDP blowing 80, colour 75 HD Blowing 78, HD moulding (deshi) 78, HD moulding (colour) 85, PP No 100 - 82, PP Colour 103
