Low density polymers rise on increased offtake

Low density polymers traded up by Re 1 per kg on the local plastic market today on increased offtake by plastic bag makers.

Traders said increased offtake by plastic bag manufacturers mainly led to rise in low density polymer prices.

LD No 40 and LD No 400 were up by Re 1 each to Rs 96.00 and Rs 97.50 per kg, respectively.

LD No 40 - 96.00, LD No 400 - 97.50 LLDP blowing 80, colour 75 HD Blowing 78, HD moulding (deshi) 80, HD moulding (colour) 87.00, PP No 100 - 82, PP Colour 103

ABS (Indian) 100, acrylic 110-120 colour 120-125, crystal (Indian) 70, colour 82, poly carbonate 170-178, Nylon No-6 155, Nylon No 66 - 190-200, PVC resin deshi 58, PVC pest grade 90
