Low density polymers slip on reduced offtake

Low density polymer prices slipped by Re 1 per kg on the local plastic market today due to reduced offtake by plastic bag makers.

However, other polymers such as polypropylene (PP) and High Density (HD), remained steady in limited deals.

Traders said reduced offtake by plastic bag makers mainly led to decline in low density polymer prices.

LD No 40 and LD NO 400 were enquired lower by Re 1 each to Rs 93 and Rs 95 per kg.
