Maize and bajra prices rose by up to Rs 20 per quintal on the wholesale grains market today on rising demand against less arrivals.
Traders said pick-up in demand against restricted arrivals from producing region mainly pushed up wholesale maize and bajra prices.
In the national capital, maize rose by Rs 20 to Rs 1,215-1,225 per quintal, while bajra gained Rs 10 to Rs 850-860 per quintal respectively.
