Makhana prices gained Rs 10 per kg on pick up in demand due to marriage season in an otherwise steady on the wholesale kirana market today.
Traders said pick up in retailers demand in view of the ongoing marriage season mainly led to rise in makhana prices.
In the national capital, makhana prices moved up by Rs 10 to Rs 280-390 per kg.
