Arrivals of chilli crop stood ~1lakh bags while offtake has increased due to demand from local buyers & exporters at auctions held at Guntur market. Spot rates were steady & quoted at '55-'60 per kg based on crop quality.

Arrivals of jeera crop declined ~34,000-35,000 bags; however trades increased to about 40,000 bags at auctions held at Unjha market. Spot rates were up & quoted at '129-'131 per kg, as per local traders.

Spot rates of pepper garbled were steady at '362 per kg and that of un-garbled was unchanged at '347 per kg while arrivals increased to 23 tons & trades too were up at 25 tons at auctions held at Kochi market, as per IPSTA.

Average price of small cardamom declined to '651.4 per kg while maximum price offered was down at '946 per kg, as per spice board. Total inflow of small cardamom crop declined to 52.2 tons from which ~50.5 tons were sold at CPMC auction held at Kumily.

Arrivals of Soya bean crop increased to about 75,000 bags across MP market & ~1,500 bags at mandis of Indore while supply at mandis of Rajasthan were steady at 15,000 bags & at mandis of Maharashtra ~20,000 bags. Spot rates of soya bean crop offered by planters were up at '38-'38.5 per kg while rates across mandis of Indore increased to '36.5-'37.5 per kg, as per local traders, as per agriculture marketing board of Rajasthan.

Guar seed arrivals stood at 25,717 quintals, while the average of the closing spot rates were up at '9,830.5 per quintal. Inflow of mustard seed crop increased to 167,513 quintals, while average of closing spot rates were down at '3,062.5 per quintal, as per agriculture marketing board of Rajasthan.

Total arrivals of mustard seed crop stood steady at 5.4-5.5lakh bags across major trading center while spot rates were up & quoted between '34- '36 per kg based on quality & location, as per market reports.

Spot rates of mentha oil were down by another '25-'30 per kg while futures too were down more than 2% on increased selling after yesterday’s short-covering. Arrivals are seen steady ~240- 250 drums, but demand remains dull from domestic & export counters.
