Arrivals of chilli crop declined to below 25,000 bags while strong demand among exporters & local buyers pushed spot rates up at auctions. Futures scaled to upper circuit while spot rates too were up by '100-'120 per kg at Guntur market.

Arrivals of new jeera crop eased slightly ~28,000 bags; however demand was reported strong with more than 30,000 bags getting traded auctions held at Unjha market. Exporters & stockist were main buyers at auctions while spot rates too were up around '127-'130 per kg.

Spot rates of pepper garbled increased '363 per kg and that of un-garbled was up at '348 per kg. Arrivals increased to 35 tons & the same were traded at auctions held at Kochi market, as per IPSTA.

Arrivals of turmeric crop increased to more than 10,000 bags at Nizamabad market, but declined to about 5,000 bags across mandis of Erode. Spot rates were up & quoted in the range of '60-'66 per kg across different locations, as per local
traders.

Average price of small cardamom increased to '691.1 per kg while maximum price offered was up at '936 per kg, as per spice board. Total inflow of small cardamom crop increased to 49.6 tons & the same were sold at SIGC auction held at Kochi.

Arrivals of Soya bean crop declined to ~1.5lakh bags at MP market & about 4,000 bags at mandis of Indore while supply at mandis of Maharashtra & Rajasthan stood ~25,000-30,000 bags, as per traders.

Spot rates of soya bean crop offered by planters were unchanged at '36-'36.5 per kg while rates across mandis of Indore were steady at '35-'35.5 per kg, as per local traders.

The overall mustard seed crop is estimated to increase by almost 18% from the last year to 71.12lakh tons in the current year mainly due to strong production estimates in Rajasthan and Haryana, as per Solvent Extractors Association of India.
Inflow of mustard seed crop declined to 86,401 quintals, while average of closing spot rates were up at '3,182.3 per quintal, as per agriculture marketing board of Rajasthan. Total arrivals of mustard seed crop increased to about 4.5lakh bags across major trading center while spot rates were up & quoted in the range of '36-'37 per kg based on location, as per reports.

Mentha oil futures witnessed a range-bound session in the absence of fresh cues from spot. Average daily arrivals stood steady ~280-300 drums while spot rates were unchanged & quoted around '1,350 per kg.
