The Sensex continues to move in a narrow range of 6,650-6678. While buying has remained steady in select banking, cement and other old economy counters, tech stocks continue to witness weak trends. The Sensex is now up 27 points at 6,678. The Nifty has gained six points to 2,090.Reliance and HLL are trading with marginal gains at Rs 548 and Rs 146, respectively. ITC (down Rs 3 to Rs 1,335), however, is still trading at subdued levels.ICICI Bank has gained 4.11% (Rs 15) to Rs 388. While SBI has logged 1.37% gains (Rs 9) to Rs 705, HDFC Bank is down a rupee at Rs 576.Grasim has advanced 1.52% (Rs 20) to Rs 1,350. While ACC has inched up by 1.28% (Rs 5) to Rs 367, Gujarat Ambuja is still up a per cent (Rs 5) at Rs 445.Bharti (up Rs 13 or 5.70% to Rs 236) continues to trade with sharp gains. Tisco has added 1.24% (Rs 5) to Rs 426.Infosys has edged lower by a per cent (Rs 20) to Rs 2,161. While Wipro, too, is down a per cent (Rs 7) at Rs 669, Satyam is up a rupee at Rs 395.Ranbaxy has dropped 1.70% (Rs 17) to Rs 1,001. Other pharma counters, too, are trading at lower levels.ONGC has slipped a per cent (Rs 8) to Rs 856. While L&T has shed 1.43% (Rs 16) to Rs 1,120, Zee is down 1.60% (Rs 2) at Rs 135.
