Markets continue to trade in green, allthough off the day's high. Earlier in the day, the index had touched a high of 17,599 and dropped 142 points to a low of 17,457.
The Sensex is now up seven points at 17,516.
Nifty is flat at 5,254.
The sectoral indices are trading mostly in green. PSU, Bankex, Oil, healthcare and power sectors have added marginally in trades. However the IT index is down at 5,242.
Wipro and TCS continue to lead the gainers chart. The former has jumped 2.3% at Rs 38 while the latter have added 1.7% to Rs 744.
In the oil & gas space, ONGC has moved up over 1% to Rs 1317.
Auto stocks - Maruti Suzuki and Tata Motors have added nearly 1% each to Rs 1,415 and Rs 769, respectively.
However, Sterlite has shed 1.4% at Rs 162. Infosys has dropped 1.3% to Rs 2,730.
Hindustan Unilever, BHEL and Mahindra are down nearly 1% in noon trades.
Market breadth continues to be positive. Out of 2891 stocks traded, 59% have advanced while 38% have declined.
