Markets continue to trade strong. The Sensex is up 160 points at 17,994. Nifty is up 45 points at 5,396.
BSE realty index has jumped 2% to 3,337. IT, metal and bankex have also advanced around 1% each.
DLF has gained 2.6% at Rs 303. Jaiprakash Associates have advanced 1.5% to Rs 127.
Tata Motors has jumped 2% to Rs 786. TCS has added 2% to Rs 789. HDFC Bank, Sterlite, Tata Steel and Hindalso have advanced around 1.5% each.
Other gainers include ICICI Bank, Wipro, Infosys and BHEL.
However, Reliance Infrastructure has dropped marginally to Rs 1,165.
BSE market breadth is positive. Out of 2,539 stocks traded, 1,861 have advanced while 598 have declined.
