The market has extended its upward trend in mid-morning trades as buying has picked up in almost all the sectors. After rising past the 6,800-mark to touch a high of 6,807, the Sensex is now up 45 points at 6,797. The Nifty, too, has moved up 13 points to 2,142.ONGC is up a per cent (Rs 9) at Rs 921. While Reliance is up with a steady gain of Rs 3 at Rs 573, ITC and HLL are marginally up at Rs 1,341 and Rs 136, respectively.ICICI Bank has advanced 3.19% (Rs 12) to Rs 395. While SBI is up a per cent (Rs 6) at Rs 737, HDFC Bank, too, has logged gains after a weak opening to Rs 603 - up Rs 9 or 1.55%.Infosys is up a per cent (Rs 14) at Rs 2,219, while Wipro is trading on a steady note at Rs 687 - up Rs 4. Satyam (down Rs 2 to Rs 407), however, is exhibiting weakness.Gujarat Ambuja has gained 1.75% (Rs 7) to Rs 434. Grasim and ACC are up a per cent each at Rs 1,372 (up Rs 13) and Rs 367 (up Rs 4), respectively.Cipla has added 1.52% (Rs 4) to Rs 287, and Dr. Reddy's is up 1.15% (Rs 9) at Rs 762. Ranbaxy is also trading in the green at Rs 1,073 - up Rs 5.Hindalco has added 1.28% (Rs 18) to Rs 1,455. Bharti, however, continues to trade at lower levels, and is down 2.31% (Rs 5) at Rs 211.
