Overnight rally on Wall Street which took the markets to 5 month high on back of conviction that central banks will do more to bolster flagging economy. The Dow gained 1.8%to 10,945. The S&P 500 rose2% to 1,161. The Nasdaq jumped 2% to 2,400.
Markets in Japan edge higher as investors cash in on banks after Bank of Japan's decision to keep interest in near zero range, the Nikkei Stock Average has risen 1.3%. Even Hong Kongs's Hang Seng reclaimed 23,000, currently trading up 1.3% at 22,928 on back of gains in resource and Banking stocks.
Straits Times of Singapore has risen 0.7%, Seoul Composite and Taiwan Weighted are also trading over 1%.
