The Sensex is now trading at 9926, up 23 points.
The Nifty is trading 3 points higher at 3036.
Hindalco has gained 3.8% to Rs 56.25, Reliance Infrastructure has advanced 2.1% to Rs 612.40, and SBI is up 1.54% to Rs 1,336. Tata Motors, DLF, HDFC and RCom are some of the other gainers.
Satyam is down 3.9% to Rs 175, Maruti has declined 2.22% to Rs 537 and Wipro is down 2% to Rs 243. ACC and Ranbaxy are down over 1.5% each.
