The Sensex continued from where it had left on Friday. After opening 27 points lower over its last close at 6,221, the Sensex dropped another 118 points to slip below the 6,200-mark and touched a low of 6,130. While the Sensex is now down 106 points at 6,142, the Nifty has lost 36 points to 1,920.ONGC has shrinked nearly 2% (Rs 17) to Rs 830. While Reliance has shed 1.73% (Rs 9) to Rs 521, ITC has declined 1.18% (Rs 16) to Rs 1,361.Infosys has lost 2.23% (Rs 44) to Rs 1,913. While Wipro has slipped 2.21% (Rs 13) to Rs 592, Satyam is down a notch at Rs 382.SBI has lost 1.41% (Rs 9) to Rs 613. While HDFC Bank has tumbled 2.89% (Rs 15) to Rs 521, ICICI Bank has dropped 2.69% (Rs 11) to Rs 392.Dr. Reddy's has lost 3% (Rs 22) to Rs 690, while Cipla has declined 2.73% (Rs 6) to Rs 228. Ranbaxy, too, has commenced weak to Rs 933 - down Rs 19 or 2%.Hindalco has slumped 3.58% (Rs 45) to Rs 1,212. Bharti has shed 2.11% (Rs 4) to Rs 199, and Reliance Energy is down 1.96% (Rs 10) at Rs 498. Tata Power (down Rs 9 or 2.54% to Rs 330) and Tisco (down Rs 9 or 2.39% to Rs 357) have also opened with steep losses.ACC has dipped 1.87% (Rs 7) to Rs 355, and Gujarat Ambuja is marginally weak at Rs 420. Grasim, however, is up a per cent (Rs 9) at Rs 1,194.
