Maytas Infrastructure eventually ended at Rs 43.05, up 5%. 370,939 shares were traded throughout the day on the BSE.

Maytas Infrastructure hit the upper circuit at Rs 43.10 on account of the company's plan to raise Rs 800-1,000 crore
However, the circuit has now opened and the stock is now trading at Rs 42.70 - up 3.9% from its previous close. The stock has clocked a volume of around 234,784 shares on the BSE so far.
Two months back the stock had fallen to its 52-week low of Rs 31.40 as against its 52-week high high of Rs 728.
The company plans to raise funds through asset sales plus loan and guarantees from banks to complete various projects, including the prestigious Hyderabad Metro, and to bid for some new projects that are coming up for auction.
