Medium sugar prices recovered modestly at the Vashi wholesale market here today on fresh buying from stockists and retailers, amid good festive offtake.
While, small sugar variety witnessed a mixed pattern of trading owing to alternate bouts of buying and selling.
Medium sugar (M-30) rose by Rs 10 per quintal to Rs 2,801/2,901 from last Friday's closing level of Rs 2,791/2,901.
Small sugar (S-30) were quoted at Rs 2,766/2,815 per quintal as compared to Rs 2,751/2,821 in the previous session.
