Mentha oil futures for April fell by Rs 11, or 1.11%, to Rs 977.10 per kg in 568 lots.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the May contract lost Rs 7.10, or 0.73%, to Rs 958.20 per kg in 61 lots.

Prices fell due to increased arrivals in the physical markets from the major producing belts amid low demand in the spot market.

Sentiment weakened further as investors indulged in profit-booking in the midst of fall in spot market demand.
