 "Mentha oil gains 0.93% on spot demand")
Mentha oil prices moved up by 0.93% to Rs 934 per kg in futures trade today driven by strong demand in spot markets.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, mentha oil for delivery in May gained Rs 8.60, or 0.93%, to Rs 934 per kg in business turnover of 343 lots.
The oil for delivery in June traded higher by Rs 3.80, or 0.41%, to Rs 929 per kg in 116 lots.
Experts said besides strong domestic and export demand in the spot market, restricted arrivals from Chandausi in Uttar Pradesh mainly pushed up mentha oil prices at futures trade.
