Mentha oil futures prices rose further by Rs 4.60 to Rs 1,180 per kg today, as traders created fresh positions, driven by a pick-up in demand at the spot market due to rising domestic and export enquiries.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange counter, mentha oil for delivery in February rose by Rs 4.60, or 0.39 per cent, to Rs 1,180 per kg, with a business turnover of 172 lots, while January-month delivery contract was up by Rs 4.30, or 0.36 per cent, to Rs 1,172.90 per kg, with an open interest of 233 lots.
