Mentha oil prices rose by Rs 4.50 to Rs 750.90 per kg in futures trading today on fresh buying by traders following pick up in demand in the spot market.
Restricted arrivals from Chandausi in Uttar Pradesh and increased offtake by pharmaceutical units also supported the uptrend in futures market.

Similarly, the oil for delivery in June gained by Rs 3.50, or by 0.49 per cent to Rs 712.50 per kg in 2627 lots.
