Mentha oil prices rose by 0.65% to Rs 990.70 per kg in futures trade today after traders enlarged positions, driven by a pick-up in industrial demand at spot market.

Besides, restricted arrivals from Chandausi in Uttar Pradesh also influenced mentha oil prices at futures trade.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, mentha oil for delivery in July gained Rs 6.40, or 0.65%, to Rs 990.70 per kg, with a trading volume of 254 lots.
